Gingerbread—no matter where you are in the world—has always been a symbol of Christmas and the holidays, stirring up warm memories of cosy kitchens, the sweet scent of spices and fun shapes.

There are endless recipes to try, but my memories of making it involve sticky brown rolling pins, flour everywhere, fun cutters and a table full of different coloured icing bowls, silver balls, red hearts, sprinkles and peppermints for the decoration fun.

This year’s edition, Gingerbread Star captures that nostalgic magic, bringing a timeless holiday favourite to your table in our exclusive, limited-edition pattern to add to your collection.

Enjoy gingerbread lattes and luxurious hot chocolates amidst laughter and joy with family and friends. The matching small lidded cookie jar is perfect to store your gingerbread creations for sharing with loved ones over the holiday season.

My recipe for homemade Gingerbread Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

- 2 cups milk

- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

- 2 tablespoons of something sweet - can be maple syrup, honey or sugar

- festive spices to taste

- stick of candy cane

Method:

Simply heat ingredients on the stove gently, whisking so that they come together. Now the fun part!  Add a pinch of cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg and voila! A delicious gingerbread hot chocolate. And if you really want to impress, serve with a stick of candy cane as a stirrer. Sip and enjoy.
