Covered Butterdish

Our Covered Butter Dishes are designed to brighten up your home. We carefully handcraft each one in our Irish Pottery, ensuring a durable design and luxurious finish. The resulting pottery serving dishes are so delightful, you‹¨«ll never want to tidy your storage away! The dishes are also ideal for sharing portions of soft cheeses, hummus or other nibbles with guests. The Fuchsia Pattern is an eye-catching floral design, full of intricate detail.

To keep it as beautiful and pristine as possible, we recommend that you follow the following advice:

• Avoid rough handling and sudden changes in temperature as this may cause the appearance of fine lines on the surface known as crazing. Crazing does NOT affect the life or the usefulness of the pottery, and some people feel this adds to the character and appeal of the pottery. It is nothing to worry about.

• Our pottery is dishwasher safe; please stack it carefully to avoid knocking.

• Our pottery is microwave safe but continuous use should be avoided.

• Stubborn stains may be removed by soaking in a mild bleach solution.

• For our ovenware pottery (and also our tabletop ware), avoid metal scourers or harsh abrasives.

• Only use our special Nicholas Mosse Ovenware in your oven, avoid direct heat and do not use on a hob or near a naked flame.

All Nicholas Mosse products are well packed in ecologically friendly, recycled packing. Insurance is included in the shipping charge. A gift card can be enclosed with gift wrapped purchases if you wish.
