Just recently received my 2018 mug and love it. Have found a space for it on my dresser. As you can see I am a great fan of Nicholas Mosse pottery . I just love the design of this 2018 Christmas mug . Everything about it comes together perfectly. Its definitely a work of art. It looks as if it was designed effortlessly but all the elements - colour, shape size etc are perfectly balanced.

Over the last 18 or so years, I have purchased Nicholas Mosse pottery. The Christmas mug is a gift for my granddaughter, and it has not as yet been given. I do love the size, the pattern and the beauty.
Is this mug dishwasher safe? When I was in Ireland, years ago, I understood that one could not wash the pottery in a dishwasher. I thought it was not sealed on the back, preventing the use of a dishwasher. I bought several pieces of blueberry pattern and have always washed the pottery by hand. NOT that that is hard to do, but I wondered?

The cup is simply beautiful! I bought it as a Christmas gift for my daughter who visited Ireland for the first time last year and loved it and wants to return. I wanted the cup to remind her of her trip. I expect she will be very pleasantly surprised when she opens the package!

I have two of these as a gift for a bride and groom readying for their wedding--will see them at a shower for another bride and groom just before New Year's ( have two N.M. mugs with hearts on them I have been saving-- for them as they will marry Valentine's week)
and honor the other couple who will marry Valentine's week will get this newest pattern.
Both are striking for different reasons: hearts are such love symbols...and the Christmas/New Years
pattern will be current and I favor the display and the hues.

I buy as much as I can afford. Sometimes more! Even the cats have their milk from a little butter dish! I particularly like the everyday bowls which we use for dinner and plan to get more of that wildlife range which might be my favourite. Morning coffee has to be in a Mosse bowl. I often buy seconds, partly price but also because they are individual!

This is actually a comment about my previous order, which included the set of three rectangular landscape design platters. While the smallest highlighted the sheep and it was centered in the platter, on the other two platters the sheep is at the left hand side of the platter. I think it would have been better balanced visually to have the sheep in the center and the smaller animals to either side, each facing the sheep.
