I adore this beautiful Valentine’s duo. I also bought the set for my sister to commemorate the birth of her baby. I just feel good using Nicholas Mosse pieces every day. During Lockdown they have brought so much joy and made every day special! I have pieces for 20 years and they are still as beautiful as the day I got them.

I love the pattern. I love the idea of a matching mug and plate.
I was very disappointed with the colour. The plate has a lovely strong red colour but the mug is much paler. I would not put them together if I was in the shop and was very surprised you would match them together. I did even think about returning them.

I’d really love to have the option of adding some of the older, discontinued patterns to my collection, as they are really beautiful and I like mixing and matching the patterns. Just a point on your mugs in general;
One of the Ex Large Mugs that I bought had an imperfection on the rim and looked like it had been repaired. That has not come away and I am left with an unusable mug. One of the Large mugs is the same. They were not bought as seconds.
The Heart Mug and plate is a bit too nieve in the decoration, I thought it would be better. I do love Nicholas Moss Pottery.

I have been collecting NM for the past 20 years so my collection is now outgrowing my kitchen.. I started with blue pansy and was so sad to see it discontinued. But I now collect various different pieces inc Christmas bits. There’s nothing like a piece of Nicholas Mosse retail therapy to put you in a good frame of mind.
