Beautiful, would make a perfect gift

Side Plate Apple

I have a mixture of Apple and Old Rose. I have a tiny plate( coaster) 2 side plates; 1 v small jug; 1 small bowl ( brown sugar ! ). 5 larger bowls. (. Soup) One of these bowls is the very, very beautiful blue pansy pattern. I did have small mugs in blue pansy but sadly the Handles got broken off. I have bought some of my pieces in your shop in Kilkenny Does this convince you that I really love Nicholas Mosse Pottery!!!!

Side Plate Apple

Absolutely love NM pottery but my absolute favourite pattern is Apple 🍎 I have mugs, jugs, sugar bowl, candlestick and have recently added side plates to my collection 🍎 They are just fabulous- delivered in a few days - perfectly packaged. I’m very pleased with them and will be adding to my apple collection again soon 🍎🍎🍎

How this product is made

Every piece of Nicholas Mosse undergoes a 20-step, handmade process.

Basic Forming

Clay comes from the ground and we mix different sorts of clays to create our own, high quality earthenware. We dig, blunge, sieve, filter and pug the clay to form extruded logs of wet clay, which are then cut into the exact size and weight for each item. The thrower takes this lump and centers and forms it on an electric potter’s wheel.
