Each mug is handcrafted in a timeless design, using the finest techniques to create durable, yet elegant pottery pieces, perfect for any occasion.

Love the clover pattern. So bright and colourful. A little piece of Ireland in anyone's home.

I just love this mug and goes with my other Nicholas Mosse mug. I love all the pottery.

Love the pattern nothing better for a cup of tea and a traditional flapjack.

Customer photo review of Large Mug Clover

These are cute. I included all of the mugs in one photo to show the variations in design. The one thing that disappoints me about these pieces (and others) is the fact that the “Nicholas Mosse - Made in Ireland” stamp on the bottom is often incomplete or blurry. Since they’re being given as handcrafted gifts from Ireland, it would be nice if they took the care to make their stamp more clear.

Love it!!

We have loved everything you make for over 20 years. Our house is full of your beautiful pottery

I love all of the pottery and enjoy using the special mugs for the different holidays.

I loved this mug every bit as much as all my other Nicholas mugs but alas I had only used it twice when I knocked it onto the floor while hoovering and smashed on the tiled floor 🥲. It’s a beautiful pattern which I hope to get more of in the future as it’s lovely with my colour scheme. Tops marks as always

Absolutely beautiful. LOVE them. I bought 2 coffee mugs for myself. I hope to add some more pottery to my collection when I visit in September!

Girlfriend loves it!

Building up my younger nieces Nicholas Mosse collections. They love NM and it gives me great joy to give

This is my mug for coffee and tea during March. The size of the handle is just right for my hand!

Beautiful mug!

very pretty solid mug

Beautiful design and pattern, it is just perfect

This charming mug combines the cheerful green of St. Patrick’s Day and the bright blue of an Easter morning. It’s also the perfect size for my cup of coffee as I start the day. Thank you, Nicholas Mosse!

I missed out buying this mug in person when visiting dublin, so i ordered it online when i got home. Zero regrets! Will love this mug for years to come.

Love these mugs! Make me feel like I am back in Ireland. Very calming feel to them.

Love thes. Bought 2 last year. Added 2 more this year. Use more often around St Patrick’ Day but find I am using more often. Just Perfect😀

Love them. Will order more

The mugs I purchased far exceeded my expectations.! All 4 of them are absolutely beautiful. Almost too beautiful to drink out of. True works of art. Your customer service was fantastic. I received e-mail updates all along the way until they arrived. I have already let my husband know my wish list. Thank you so much for my tiny piece of Ireland.

Reminds us of our ireland trip, beautiful pattern.

I love having special occasion mugs. Would love one for Easter.

Wonderful pottery and amazing service.

Gift for a friend. She was thrilled

My favourite cup, gives me that feeling of belonging to a country I love. No place like Northern Ireland.

I‘ve been waiting patiently to order from Nicholas Mosse while admiring the ceramics and the beauty of them. The international shipping cost always sort of deterred me, but what was I thinking? I absolutely love this mug and it is the perfect size for my evening cup of tea. I use it daily and it makes me smile. Thank you and I hope to visit you all one day. ❤️

Engagement present for my niece, she loved them. As always great service.

I love all of the products I purchased. They are part of the Nicholas Moss collection I have been collecting for years. One thing - I really miss the distinctive Nicholas Moss stamp on the bottom of each piece. They seem a little less special without that stamp.,

Nice

Lovely, cheerful pattern. One of my favorites.

I love my new clover pottery, brilliantly made and worth every penny. I will be adding more to my collection. Thank you very much. I would highly recommend Nicholas Mosse pottery.

So many memories of my time in Ireland over the years. My morning coffee takes me back when I use my mug!! 🍀

Beautiful mug, my favorite of the three that we ordered. Hope it lasts forever!

Beautiful mug and as my husband always has black tea, perfect for not staining!

How this product is made

Every piece of Nicholas Mosse undergoes a 20-step, handmade process.

Basic Forming

Clay comes from the ground and we mix different sorts of clays to create our own, high quality earthenware. We dig, blunge, sieve, filter and pug the clay to form extruded logs of wet clay, which are then cut into the exact size and weight for each item. The thrower takes this lump and centers and forms it on an electric potter’s wheel.
