I had the same size bowl with the tulip pattern, which is my very favorite, but didn't see it available to purchase again so bought the rose pattern. I do like it, but the tulip pattern will always be my favorite - I have the mugs too in the tulip pattern. Unfortunately the bowl was broken and I wanted to replace it.

This bowl is one of my favorite NM pieces. I fell in love with this piece the moment I set my eyes on it. It has so many uses. I put fruit and vegetebales into it. Sometimes I use it to make salads or whisk cakes. It's really marvelous. The patterns is timeless, a real masterpiece. My guests were delighted with it when they dropped by. I constantly use it. Highly recommend it.

On my very first visit to Ireland we stayed at b&b Aberdeen Lodge, outside of Dublin and Anne the owner makes a gorgeous buffet every morning showcasing your bowls-I fell in love with the pottery. She introduced me to Nicolhas Mosse and I’m so grateful. I then googled it, begged my sweet husband to incorporate a stop during our travels. The girls at the shop were all so lovely and patient, I had to wait until I got home to order my first pieces, but I’m looking forward to growing my collection of this handcrafted Irish heirloom pottery. Have long had my eye on a Nicholas Mosse piece and finally pulled the trigger this fall. I could not be more pleased with my selection. The pattern is even more beautiful in person. A true classic. I debated between the large bowl and the salad bowl and am very pleased with my decision. It is a perfect "in-between" bowl is in constant use for fruit, vegetable sides at dinner, or salad for a small group. Packing was outstanding and shipping was fast.
