I bought this mug for the first time on my holiday in Ireland about 20 years ago. And when it was broken I really felt sorry, because it was my favourite mug. So happy to find the same mug again - I bought 2 of them in case of … :-)

I’m from New Hampshire and visited Adare in 2018. I bought the expresso dog mug and cow mug at a boutique store as a thank you gift to my sister, who was caring for our new 4 month old Lab. When I recently revisited Adare in July, I found the boutique store, but she was closed. I came back to NH from our 9 day golf trip and ordered me a large dog mug, I love it!! It looks just like our lab, Charlie, red collar and all. My only disappointment was the mugs I bought at the boutique store in Adare had the stamp on the bottom letting me know it was a Nicholas Moore piece and the town his studio is in. The one I ordered from you directly did not. I think it’s a nice touch to add that to the bottom of the mug, makes it more authentic.
Just my opinion from an Irish lady here in New Hampshire that loves your pottery.

I was given one of these mugs by the barber who was a fan of my dog. The dog on the mug resembles the late great canine, who was something of a neighborhood celebrity. Since then I have bought a number of mugs and two bowls with the dog motif and given them as gifts to those who love and honor the dog-human relationship. Please don't stop making them. (I have bought other pieces too).

We purchased your pottery on our first trip to Ireland in 1997. Fell in love with it then, came home and found a store that sold it in Charleston SC. We have some large pieces that are signed and we use them to decorate our kitchen. Also have a full set that we use daily. Your pottery is so original and so lovely. Thank you.

The wife now widow of a beloved neighbor in Brooklyn NY bought me one of these mugs in honor of my dog, who resembled the dog pictured on the mug. My neighbor who had no dog as a boy loved my dog. The mug made it all the way to New Orleans but broke when something fell out of a cabinet and knocked it to my kitchen floor. Now I buy these mugs for children and adults who are dog lovers as much as I can. I also have a vegetable dish in the pattern I use for my own everyday meals

My parents took many (8?) trips to Ireland from the USA (genealogy took them but the land, music, history, & people kept calling them back) & always came home with new Mosse pieces. They had this dog mug (he looks very much like their beloved golden retriever, Jeremy) & the sheep mug. I remembered them when looking at your site. Your pottery is beautiful & sturdy but I bought them for sentimental reasons.
