Our Large Mugs are among the finest of our kitchen pottery, with a wide range of uses. Use them to serve hot cocoa to family in front of the fire, to share afternoon tea with some beloved guests or as a gift to a friend to show appreciation; the choices are endless!
Each mug is handcrafted in a timeless design, using the finest techniques to create durable, yet elegant pottery pieces, perfect for any occasion.
The Large Mug features a slightly more intricate Clover Pattern than its smaller counterpart. The design frames a striking clover flower and plants with singular leaves, reminiscent of hearts. The colour palette is elegant yet vibrant, mixing vivid blues and yellows with subtle greens.

To keep it as beautiful and pristine as possible, we recommend that you follow the following advice:
• Avoid rough handling and sudden changes in temperature as this may cause the appearance of fine lines on the surface known as crazing. Crazing does NOT affect the life or the usefulness of the pottery, and some people feel this adds to the character and appeal of the pottery. It is nothing to worry about.
• Our pottery is dishwasher safe; please stack it carefully to avoid knocking.
• Our pottery is microwave safe but continuous use should be avoided.
• Stubborn stains may be removed by soaking in a mild bleach solution.
• For our ovenware pottery (and also our tabletop ware), avoid metal scourers or harsh abrasives.
• Only use our special Nicholas Mosse Ovenware in your oven, avoid direct heat and do not use on a hob or near a naked flame.
All Nicholas Mosse products are well packed in ecologically friendly, recycled packing. Insurance is included in the shipping charge.

I just love this mug and goes with my other Nicholas Mosse mug. I love all the pottery.
Love the pattern nothing better for a cup of tea and a traditional flapjack.
These are cute. I included all of the mugs in one photo to show the variations in design. The one thing that disappoints me about these pieces (and others) is the fact that the “Nicholas Mosse - Made in Ireland” stamp on the bottom is often incomplete or blurry. Since they’re being given as handcrafted gifts from Ireland, it would be nice if they took the care to make their stamp more clear.

I loved this mug every bit as much as all my other Nicholas mugs but alas I had only used it twice when I knocked it onto the floor while hoovering and smashed on the tiled floor 🥲. It’s a beautiful pattern which I hope to get more of in the future as it’s lovely with my colour scheme. Tops marks as always

I love all of the products I purchased. They are part of the Nicholas Moss collection I have been collecting for years. One thing - I really miss the distinctive Nicholas Moss stamp on the bottom of each piece. They seem a little less special without that stamp.,
