The best in show of our ovenware: this dish sells best and cooks most. It does the lasagna job perfectly but also inspires one to more elaborate culinary heights. We spent a long time perfecting this stoneware range, but are delighted at how easy to clean and fun to use it has turned out to be.

To keep it as beautiful and pristine as possible, we recommend that you follow the following advice:
• Avoid rough handling and sudden changes in temperature as this may cause the appearance of fine lines on the surface known as crazing. Crazing does NOT affect the life or the usefulness of the pottery, and some people feel this adds to the character and appeal of the pottery. It is nothing to worry about.
• Our pottery is dishwasher safe; please stack it carefully to avoid knocking.
• Our pottery is microwave safe but continuous use should be avoided.
• Stubborn stains may be removed by soaking in a mild bleach solution.
• For our ovenware pottery (and also our tabletop ware), avoid metal scourers or harsh abrasives.
• Only use our special Nicholas Mosse Ovenware in your oven, avoid direct heat and do not use on a hob or near a naked flame
All Nicholas Mosse products are well packed in ecologically friendly, recycled packing. Insurance is included in the shipping charge.
I love this. I already have one of these dishes but needed a second for when all the family comes for dinner. They’re the perfect size for a deep family pie.
It was a present for partners’ daughter. I haven’t given it to her yet. I will ask her to review it for you but it won’t be for a couple of weeks. I think they look beautiful, and strong, so I think she will love them.
I had the item delivered to my brother in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, as a Christmas gift. And, while I was late ordering the item, it arrived on Tuesday, the 26th of December, by FedEx couriers.
I was contacted by a lady from Nicholas Mosse prior to shipment, regarding the bowl, and to confirm it's dispatch.
So, all in all, I'm very happy with the service, and the bowl has been very warmly received Stateside!

Purchased several items for friends and daughter from Design Center while in Dublin in October. Everyone loved the pieces except my wife who was jealous that she didn't get any pieces. Gues what she got for Christmas-now she is happy. Beautiful yet very functional pottery.
Bought a present for myself🧡😍 to add to my rose collection. ..I adore cooking and it is made complete and special from the simplest dish to the fanciest dish by its presentation in beautiful pottery . .thanks for the beautiful natural pretty country designs. .so good for the soul 😍
Use it all the time. My husband has suggested he would find it easier to lift out of the oven if it had a rim as he fears it may slip through his fingers.
I got this originally for myself but ended up giving it to my Mom because she loved it so much! This is seriously one of the prettiest collections we have ever come across that we love so much. Guess Ill just have to get one for myself!
I have been collecting Nicholas Mosse pottery for over 25 years. It is beautiful and I use it for both special occasions and everyday meals. Mixing the patterns always new and interesting. I finally ordered a casserole dish. Can’t wait to use it.
The customer service is fantastic. Brenda set up the tracking for my package at Christmas.
I visited the shop when I went to Ireland and the staff are friendly. I had the best lunch at the cafe on Nicholas Mosse pottery of course.
Every piece of Nicholas Mosse undergoes a 20-step, handmade process.
Basic Forming
Clay comes from the ground and we mix different sorts of clays to create our own, high quality earthenware. We dig, blunge, sieve, filter and pug the clay to form extruded logs of wet clay, which are then cut into the exact size and weight for each item. The thrower takes this lump and centers and forms it on an electric potter’s wheel.
Wet Clay or Greenware
The little jug body is dried to a "leather hard" stage, and then a handle is attached to it with a glue-like substance called slip. Small imperfections are fettled and cleared away to make the pot ready for the next stage.
Slip Dipping
When it reaches a very particular level of hardness, the little jug can be lowered into the liquid slip bucket. This type of slip is made from our same clay but with more water and less iron, to make it whiter. The slip is viscous and makes another pot cleaning necessary.
Bisque Kiln Firing
Once again the jug needs to harden even more, so it can withstand being stamped with our Nicholas Mosse logo. It then waits for its turn in the kiln and receives a first firing or ‘bisque’ firing, which removes all water from the clay and makes it hard and ready to decorate.
Decorating
Nicholas Mosse Pottery has a large group of shapes, from mugs to plates to bowls, which are all hand decorated in one of our 10 or so patterns. Each motif is applied by hand, one at a time, in different underglaze colours. The pots are then dipped into clear glaze and fired again.
